KRTKL x Lotto Is Official: Two Years in the Making
Malaysian streetwear label KRTKL has officially announced a collaboration with Italian sportswear brand Lotto — and it’s been almost two years in the making.
The news was confirmed on 10 September by KRTKL founder Aiman (@aimanhfiz) in a personal post on Instagram:
“Two years. Countless sleepless nights. Moments I almost gave up. Today, KRTKL x Lotto is finally real. Every sacrifice was worth it. Thank you for believing in us since day one. Bismillah.”

The announcement graphic keeps it simple: a gold KRTKL® and Lotto lockup over a tiled KRTKL monogram, with one line underneath — “Built our way here, piece by piece.” Within a day the post had pulled in close to 2,000 likes and a flood of congratulations from the local streetwear scene.
From Selangor to a global name
KRTKL (read: kritikal) is a homegrown label out of Selangor that has built its following through community-driven drops and collaborations — including its earlier AKUKRTKL project with Akudesign, which introduced jersey pieces to the brand and drew an overwhelming crowd on launch day.
Lotto is a different scale altogether. Founded in Italy in 1973, the brand is best known for its football and tennis heritage, and has been leaning back into that archive with a run of collaborations. A co-branded release with a Malaysian independent label is a serious milestone — for KRTKL, and for the local scene.
What we know so far
KRTKL hasn’t published a lineup yet, but the second slide of the announcement gives a peek behind the curtain: the team going over printouts, and a tech pack for a black track top open on screen — front and back views, fabric specs, and notes on a Lotto centre patch and back embroidery. Read into that what you will.
